Acupuncture as the principal or complementary treatment

There are numerous indications for acupuncture as traditional Chinese medicine is a general medicine that has been used in Asia for thousands of years to treat all manner of ailments.

Although we are primarily aware of its effectiveness in the treatment of pain, its indications are far wider. The WHO has recognised its effects in the treatment of many conditions.

The list below is therefore given only by way of illustration.

You can easily call to ask for information.

However, acupuncture does not claim to cure everything. It is important to know how to prescribe it as either the principal or complementary treatment. A prior medical diagnosis may therefore be requested in order to rule out any serious disease. When the condition is already known and has already been examined, this will obviously not be necessary.

Acupuncture is particularly effective in cases of:

  • Osteoarticular pain (back pain, shoulder pain, arm pain, knee pain, etc.)
  • Headaches, migraines
  • Menopause problems
  • Period pains
  • Coughs, colds, sinusitis, chills
  • Stress
  • Tiredness
  • Digestive problems
  • Agitation, anxiety, depression
  • Loss of taste and smell post covid 19
  • And many other ailments as well
